I hold a PhD in Humanities from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain), where my research focused on the digital edition of Luis de Góngora’s Solitudes. Throughout my doctoral studies, I meticulously examined approximately twenty witnesses and implemented a critical text encoding adhering to the TEI Guidelines.

During my postdoc project at the Cologne Center for eHumanities (Universität zu Köln, Germany), I contributed significantly to the modeling and data curation of the HallerNet project, dedicated to the Swiss philosopher Albrecht von Haller. This experience honed my skills in data curation and knowledge representation.

In my recent role at the Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Berlin-Brandenburg, I played a pivotal role in the Proyecto Humboldt Digital (ProHD). I led the design of the digitization workflow and metadata strategy, localized successfully a research software from German to Spanish, and developed a website hosting a text collection related to Alexander von Humboldt’s journey to Cuba in the early 19th century. These responsibilities showcased my multifaceted abilities in software localization, web development, and project management.

My current research thrust revolves around digital scholarly editions and network analysis, where I aim to contribute to the advancement of these fields with innovative methodologies and insights.

Beyond my research endeavors, I actively engage in community-building activities. I have collaborated with esteemed organizations such as the European Association for Digital Humanities (2015-2018), The Programming Historian en español (2016-2020), and the Asociación Humanidades Digitales Hispánicas (2021-2023). These collaborations not only expanded my network but also allowed me to contribute to the growth and visibility of digital humanities within diverse communities.
