An der Universität Zürich ist zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine
Professur für Iberoromanische Literaturwissenschaft mit besonderer Berücksichtigung der Literaturen ausserhalb Europas
zu besetzen.
Schwerpunktmässig sollen die Literaturen und Kulturen Hispanoamerikas vertreten werden; erwünscht ist zudem die Berücksichtigung der lusophonen Literatur und Kultur vor allem Brasiliens. Die Professur ist am Romanischen Seminar angesiedelt. Ein besonderes Engagement im Lateinamerika-Zentrum der Universität Zürich wird erwartet. Unterrichtssprache ist Spanisch und gegebenenfalls Portugiesisch; Verwaltungssprache ist Deutsch. Vorausgesetzt werden eine Habilitation oder gleichwertige Leistungen im relevanten Gebiet. La Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Zúrich (Suiza) convoca una

Cátedra de Literaturas iberorromances no europeas,

especializada en el estudio de las literaturas y culturas hispanoamericanas, con el deseo de que sea cubierta lo antes posible. La Cátedra vacante, que debería atender asimismo las literaturas y culturas lusófonas y, en especial, la brasileña, pertenece al Departamento de Lenguas y Literaturas Románicas (Romanisches Seminar) y desempeña relevantes funciones dentro del Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos de Zúrich. La enseñanza se impartirá en castellano o, en su caso, en portugués. La lengua administrativa es el alemán. Para optar a esta plaza los/as interesados/as deberán estar habilitados/as o acreditados/as para cátedra, o poseer una cualificación equivalente. La Universidad de Zúrich se ha propuesto aumentar el porcentaje de catedráticas y ruega por ello encarecidamente a las candidatas con la cualificación necesaria que presenten su solicitud.

The University of Zurich invites applications for a
professorship for Ibero-Romance literature with a special focus on non-European literatures
The position should be filled at the earliest opportunity.
Special focus should be given to the literatures and cultures of Hispanic America; furthermore, consideration of Lusophone literature and culture (especially of Brazil) is desired. The professorship is based in the Institute of Romance Studies, and special involvement and cooperation with the Latin American Center of the University of Zurich is expected. The languages of instruction are Spanish and (where applicable) Portuguese. Since administrative work is conducted in German, non-German speaking candidates are expected to acquire a working knowledge of German within the first two years of appointment. A habilitation or equivalent academic record in the relevant area of research is required. Since the University of Zurich seeks to increase the number of women in research and teaching positions as well as in leading academic positions, qualified female researchers are particularly encouraged to apply.
