Das Institut für Romanistik sucht eine/n

Lecturer
(40 Stunden/Woche; befristet auf 6 Jahre; zu besetzen ab 01. Oktober 2020)

Ihr Aufgabengebiet
• Lehre in einem durchschnittlichen Ausmaß von 8 Semesterstunden im Bereich der Sprachausbildung Italienisch ab Stufe B1/GERS (alle Sprachstufen) für Studierende der Romanistik in Bachelor- und Masterstudiengängen Romanistik/Italienisch sowie für Studierende des Unterrichtsfaches Italienisch
• Bei Bedarf und entsprechender Qualifikation Übernahme literaturwissenschaftlicher, kulturwissenschaftlicher, sprachwissenschaftlicher oder fachdidaktischer Lehrveranstaltungen im Bereich Italienisch
• Mitarbeit im Forschungsbetrieb und Recherche für und Mitwirkung bei nationalen und internationalen Drittmittelprojekten sowie Projekten und Tagungen des Instituts
• Forschungs- und Publikationstätigkeit in einem der folgenden Bereiche: Literaturwissenschaft, Sprachwissenschaft, Kulturwissenschaft, Fachdidaktik
• Mitarbeit an Organisations-, Verwaltungs- und Evaluationsmaßnahmen
• Beteiligung an den Prüfungstätigkeiten (inkl. Einstufungstests)
• Studienberatung und Mitarbeit an der Administration der Lehrenden- und Studierendenmobilität im Bereich Italienisch
• Mitarbeit bei der Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Lehrplänen und Lehrmaterialien
• Beteiligung an der Verwaltung des Instituts sowie Mitarbeit in den universitären Gremien der akademischen Selbstverwaltung

Ihr Profil
• Abgeschlossenes geisteswissenschaftliches Doktoratsstudium mit Schwerpunkt Italienisch
• Aktuelle Forschungs- und Publikationstätigkeit in einem der folgenden Bereiche: Literaturwissenschaft, Sprachwissenschaft, Kulturwissenschaft, Fachdidaktik
• Italienisch als Muttersprache oder gleichzuhaltende Kompetenz (C2 nach GERS)
• Deutschkenntnisse mindestens auf Niveau B2 (nach GERS)
• Mehrjährige Unterrichtserfahrung im Bereich Italienisch als Zweitsprache, vorzugsweise an einer Universität
• Qualifikation im Bereich Italienisch als Zweitsprache (wünschenswert)
• Erfahrung mit Lernplattformen
• Bereitschaft zur Weiterbildung im Bereich der Sprachdidaktik
• Soziale Kompetenz, insbesondere Teamfähigkeit
• Eigeninitiative, Engagement und Motivationsfähigkeit
• Flexibilität und Zuverlässigkeit

Mindestgehalt
Das kollektivvertragliche Mindestentgelt gemäß der angegebenen Einstufung beträgt € 3889.50 brutto/Monat (40 Stunden/Woche). Durch anrechenbare Vordienstzeiten und sonstige Bezugs- und Entlohnungsbestandteile kann sich dieses Mindestentgelt erhöhen. Ein darüber hinaus gehendes höheres Entgelt kann im Einzelfall vereinbart werden.

The Institute of Romance Studies is looking for a

Lecturer
(40 hours a week; fixed-term employment for the period of 6 years; position to be filled as of October 1st 2020 )

Your duties
• Teaching at the volume of 8 semester hours (on average) in language skills in Italian for all competence levels from the level B1/CEFR for students of Romance Studies in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in Romance Studies/Italian and for students of the teaching subject Italian.
• According to need and if the candidate is suitably qualified, teaching of courses in literature studies, cultural studies, linguistics or teaching methodology for Italian.
• Research work and publications in one of the following fields: literary studies, linguistics, cultural studies, or teaching methodology.
• Participation in research activities, preparation for and participation in national and international, externally funded projects as well as projects and conferences of the institute.
• Participation in organizational, administrative and evaluation measures.
• Participation in examination work (including placement tests)
• Study guidance and assistance with the administration of mobility of teachers and students in the subject Italian
• Participation in the development and implementation of curricula and teaching materials
• Participation in the administration of the institute and in the university committees of academic self-government

Your profile
• Doctoral degree in the humanities with a major focus on Italian
• Ongoing research and publication activities in one of the following fields: literary studies, linguistics, cultural studies, teaching methodology.
• Native or native-like competence in Italian (CEFR C2)
• German competence at least B2 (CEFR)
• Two or more years experience of teaching Italian as a second language, preferably at a university
• Qualification in Italian as a Second Language (desirable)
• Experience with learning platforms
• Willingness to undergo further training in language teaching methodology
• Social competence, especially aptitude for teamwork
• Ability to work autonomously, dedication and ability to motivate others
• Flexibility and reliability

Minimum salary
The minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement and according to the classification scheme is EUR 3889.50 gross/month (40 hours/week). This minimum salary may be higher due to previous employment periods eligible for inclusion and other earnings and remunerations.
