Samuel Beckett: The German Room
Stadt: Regensburg
Frist: 2025-09-07
Beginn: 2025-09-22
Ende: 2025-08-22
Samuel Beckett, one of the best-known and most popular writers of the 20th century, is usually categorised as contributing to Irish and French literary history. However, he was a multilingual author with an intense relationship with the German language.
An exhibition of the University Library of Regensburg is dedicated to this complex relationship and invites visitors to familiarise themselves with – and to learn to read – the many dimensions of the ‘German Beckett’.
We are pleased to invite you to the international conference and exhibition opening:
“Samuel Beckett: The German Room”
