The newly created bilingual Journal of Antipoetry Studies (JAPS) / Revista de Estudios Antipoéticos (REVESA) invites submissions for its first volume, which will be published online (open access) by Cardiff University Press in 2017. JAPS/REVESA is the joint initiative of General Editors Prof Álvaro Salvador (Granada) and Dr Tilmann Altenberg (Cardiff). The journal’s Editorial Board comprises:

  • Niall Binns (Madrid)
  • Philip Swanson (Sheffield)
  • Álvaro Salvador (Granada)
  • Tilmann Altenberg (Cardiff)

JAPS/REVESA invites previously unpublished research articles, written in either Spanish or English, that relate to any aspect of antipoetry or its ramifications. All submissions will undergo double-blind peer review by two academics. The criteria for publication are originality, scholarly rigour and clarity. Articles in Microsoft Word format (.doc / .docx) or RTF should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words long (including footnotes and list of works cited) and follow Chicago Style (author-date), as specified in the following style manuals:

  • Articles in English: The Chicago Manual of Style, 16th ed., 2010.
  • Articles in Spanish: Manual de estilo Chicago-Deusto, 2013 (chap. 16).
